Living Room Reveal- A Work in Progress
One of the reasons we fell in love with our house was when we walked into the living room. The charm was oozing... between the wooden vaulted ceilings and the brick functioning fireplace, we knew that kind of charm was rare in Miami! Naturally, this was the first room I could not wait to decorate. After decorating in the blue and white theme our previous apartments, I wasn't sure if I wanted to go for a different look for the house. Let's just say I tried... but failed. I mean the blue and white is so Provence and classic! Here are a couple of BEFORE pictures:
And here are our IN-PROGRESS pictures (we can't say "after" just yet because it's still missing a lot of updates and items-- stay tuned). We painted our walls and fireplace Chantilly Lace from Benjamin Moore. The crisp walls are a contrast to the wood ceiling and floor.
We have tagged and linked all the places you can find the items we purchased.

Our biggest challenge will be keeping our white furniture white... lol. When the sofa got delivered the delivery man asked, "there are no kids here, right?" We looked at Mia and said just her. Let's see what happens the day we do have a child... there will be a lot of "down" and "no"... kind of the same way we do with Mia. Haha! I hope to have inspired you to recreate your space!
Love always, Jenni
